Before the camp
“I used to roam around in shelter. I used to smoke 8-10 beedies per day. My friend Prabhu and I used to lie to our parents saying that we were going for work; but then, we used steal iron material outside the colony and from the money earned from this, we used to inhale Solution. Some times I used to steal money from my home.”

“I stopped talking bad words after listening to the story of “Parrot with Saint” in the camp. I learnt many good things by paying attention to some moral stories & doing some activities in the camp. Now, I am listening to my parents. I came to known that getting addicted to Beedi, Solution, etc. spoils our health.”

Before the camp
“I disobeyed my parents and was highly indisciplined. I used to play marbles, cricket, and cards by betting with friends. I used roam in streets without any work or job to do. I was very quarrelsome with my siblings and friends. I used to smoke Beedies and Cigarette without any count each day. I used to chew Raja Supari and Ghutka. I used to inhale solution once a day. Used to drink Brandy and Beer daily.”

“I have been reformed from meditation and moral stories in the camp. “Papi Rahim’s” story influenced me to change. “Three different parrots” story made me understand the importance of my parents. One important thing I came to know was the influence of bad habits on health.”
