 |
|
Before the camp
“I left home for no reason. I wandered and stayed at all platforms ie: from Delhi, Mumbai, Pune to Hyderabad for almost 2 years. I did pick pocketing once in a while. Got caught by the police only once, but tipped him off. I used to consume 3-4 bottles of solution and 5-8 packs of Gutkha every day.” |

| After the camp |
“In the camp, the story of “Sravana Kumar who took care of his blind parents” from our mythology changed my life. I realized that leaving my own parents and family was a very big mistake. Also, I realized that this mistake could be rectified. I have started continuing my studies and am also helping my parents in their daily routines. I have quit all the bad habits. I have found a purpose for my life.” |

| After the camp |
“The story of Mahatma Gandhi changed my life. I realized that mistakes done by a person could be rectified. In the camp, I was taught to have a life, which shall be respected. After listening to the “Bad habits class” in the camp, I quit all the bad habits and returned back home. Now, I am going for Vocational training and will start working after 6 months to support my family.”
