How we spread across India ?

In order to help many more platform children, SATHI strongly feels that it should make its presence felt on major platforms in India.

Thus, the need to collaborate or partner with the local NGOs in each place is imperative.

SATHI identifies the junction or the platform that may have more runaway children pouring in. This is done by way of a preliminary survey.

Next, SATHI scans the local area and identifies those NGOs who are interested in helping Railway children.

The following are the parameters that SATHI looks into when getting into Partnership

  1. Number of years the NGO has worked with children
  2. If it is a small NGO, it’s ability to raise funds independently after 1-2 years of support.

SATHI assists the NGOs only in focused and extensive home placement work.

SATHI strongly believes that it is only through collaboration that it can work across India as the local NGO definitely has “location advantage”
